Meet Theresia and her Trusty Sheepdogs

Theresia Roddy, a sheep farmer from Austria moved to Ireland over 20 years ago.
Here in Cloonlumney she farms with her husband Chris whose family have worked this land for six generations. Traditionally a cattle farm, the Roddys pivoted to sheep farming and now herd a large flock of traditional self-shedding sheep.
 

Come along and enjoy watching Castor and the other sheepdogs on a fascinating sheepdog demonstration. Say hello to these friendly pets and even try your hand at bottle-feeding lambs. Learn about the practice of sheep farming in Ireland and get to know what it is that drives the Roddy family to work with these delightful animals.
